SKY7 and Fintech Amigo have launched IBAN Cloud, a joint initiative designed to help businesses and individuals identify banking and payment solutions aligned with their specific requirements and operational models.
SKY7 specializes in legal, regulatory, and corporate aspects of financial businesses, assisting clients with obtaining financial and crypto licenses, establishing operations across jurisdictions, developing compliance frameworks, and opening banking accounts. Fintech Amigo focuses on technology and infrastructure, designing technical architectures, implementing core banking systems, and integrating external providers including Banking-as-a-Service, Cards-as-a-Service, KYC/KYB solutions, custody infrastructure, and blockchain analytics.
The partnership addresses a growing complexity in financial infrastructure selection. Different businesses require different solutions: some need operating accounts, others require safeguarding or settlement accounts. International businesses may need multi-currency accounts with SEPA and SWIFT connectivity, while cryptocurrency exchanges and prime brokers require infrastructure specifically compatible with crypto-related operations.
Rather than beginning with the question of which bank to approach, IBAN Cloud starts by mapping the financial infrastructure a business actually needs. Based on the client's business model, geography, currencies, expected volumes, and fund flows, suitable banking partners and payment institutions are identified, with support provided through application preparation, introductions, and onboarding.
IBAN Cloud itself is not a bank and does not hold client funds or make account-opening decisions. Final approval remains with the relevant financial institution, which assesses company ownership structure, AML framework, client geography, and fund flows.
The service supports regulated fintech and crypto businesses as well as traditional international companies and individuals seeking international accounts, multi-currency solutions, and cross-border payment infrastructure.
