Solana's native token has recorded a notable weekly performance, rising roughly 9% over the past week to trade around $103. According to data shared by X user Ash Crypto, the asset concluded the previous week at approximately $102.80, marking its highest weekly close in the last seven months.
Alongside its price movement, the asset has experienced growing institutional interest. Data from SoSoValue indicates that spot SOL exchange-traded funds have recorded nine consecutive days of inflows, representing the longest streak of positive flows since May. Financial products offering exposure to the asset are provided by entities such as Bitwise, Fidelity, Grayscale, VanEck, and Franklin Templeton. Among these, Bitwise's BSOL product recently surpassed $1 billion in assets under management.
Market analysts have shared varying perspectives regarding Solana's upcoming price trajectory. Carl Hawley identified $120 as a key level to watch in the coming weeks if current market momentum is maintained. Meanwhile, analyst Crypto with Harris ₿ suggested that a potential move to $120 could be followed by a decline toward $80, noting that the broader market bottom may not yet be established.
Additional optimism among market participants stems from historical seasonal patterns. September has historically favored Solana, with the asset finishing the month in the positive on five of the past six occasions. The only negative September recorded for the token occurred in 2020, when its price declined by nearly 40%.
