Solana ETFs See $138M Inflow in 10 Days as BSOL Crosses $1B Milestone

Solana spot ETFs have recorded their strongest period of investor demand since their launch, attracting $138 million in net inflows over a 10-day span. According to Glassnode data, August 25th was the most significant day, with Solana ETF products collectively drawing approximately $47 million in inflows.

The overall Solana ETF category has accumulated roughly $1.7 billion in total inflows, according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. This inflow streak occurred despite challenging market conditions during the first half of 2026.

Bitwise's BSOL reaches historic milestone

Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, emerged as the largest beneficiary of investor interest, becoming the first Solana ETF to cross $1 billion in assets under management. The fund held approximately 9.3 million SOL worth roughly $1.018 billion as of August 26th. Since its launch in October 2025, BSOL reached the $1 billion milestone in approximately 10 months.

During the same period, Bitcoin ETFs and other altcoin ETFs also exhibited inflow streaks, suggesting broader market optimism across digital asset categories.

ETF inflows and price movements decoupled

Despite strong ETF inflows, SOL was trading at $104.05 at the time of reporting, having declined 3.1% in the previous 24 hours while rising over 10% in the past week. Analysts cautioned that ETF inflows should not be interpreted as a guaranteed bullish signal for SOL's price.

Governance votes shape Solana's future

Solana's first round of on-chain governance voting concluded with the community approving two proposals. SGP-0002, titled "Double Disinflation," was approved, doubling Solana's annual disinflation rate from 15% to 30% and allowing SOL to reach its 1.5% terminal inflation rate in approximately 2.8 years instead of 5.7 years.

The community also approved SGP-0001, "The Solana Constitution," while rejecting SGP-0003, the "Resource and Inclusion Fee" proposal, which received 53.90% support. The rejected proposal would have split transaction fees into a fixed inclusion fee and a resource fee, with the latter fully burned.
