Rohun Vora, founder of the Solana-based NFT projects DeGods and y00ts, turned $1,491 into approximately $1.2 million through a memecoin trade completed in less than seven hours on September 4, 2026.
At 5:00 AM, Vora purchased 11 million tokens of A Meme Coin (AMC) when the token's market capitalization stood at approximately $135,300. By 12:00 PM the same day, the token had increased roughly 561,613%, pushing its market cap to around $109.9 million, according to on-chain data analyzed by Lookonchain.
The trade generated a return of $1,198,509, representing an 81,025% gain in the seven-hour period.
The AMC token surge was catalyzed by a dispute over stock tokenization. AMC Entertainment Holdings CEO Adam Aron threatened legal action against Robinhood Markets over what he characterized as the unauthorized tokenization of AMC stock, stating the practice violated U.S. securities laws.
At the time of publication, the AMC token had reached an all-time high market cap of slightly above $180 million before declining. The token, based on the Roninhood Chain, had a fully diluted valuation of approximately $89.8 million, with locked liquidity of $10.3 million and trading volume of $154.5 million.
