The Solana blockchain has reached a significant milestone as its real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem now hosts over 400,000 unique holders, representing rapid expansion from fewer than 10,000 holders recorded in January 2025. This growth demonstrates that tokenized real-world assets on Solana are gaining traction beyond crypto's early-adopter community.
SOL currently trades near $102, down 1.44% over the past 24 hours but up approximately 33% over the last month and 1.45% over the past week. The $100 level has emerged as key support following the token's recent climb from $76 to $109.
Technical Analysis and Price Targets
The $109–$110 price zone represents the most significant near-term resistance for SOL bulls. The upper boundary of the Bollinger Bands sits at $109.03, establishing this area as a definitive resistance ceiling for immediate upward movement. A breakout through this barrier could unlock movement toward the $112–$116 range. Conversely, failure to maintain support above $101.87 could trigger a decline toward the lower Bollinger Band around $94.70.
Current momentum indicators show cooling buying pressure following the recent price surge. The MACD indicator line stands at 4.74, positioned beneath the signal line at 5.70, producing a histogram value of -0.96.
Record Token Creation on Network
Solana established a new benchmark by registering over 263,000 newly created tokens within a single 24-hour period, dramatically exceeding the 40,000–50,000 daily token creation rate observed during the memecoin activity peak in December 2024. The memecoin launchpad Pump.fun accounted for 34,184 of the 40,360 tokens deployed via launchpad platforms, generating $1.8 million in fees during the 24-hour period and contributing one-third of Solana's Q1 2026 revenue stream at $124 million of $342 million total.
