US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $241 million in net inflows for the trading week ending October 2, 2026, marking the third consecutive week of positive flows.
BlackRock Leads Inflows
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for the majority of the week's inflows, taking in $450 million. The fund's cumulative assets now total $65.73 billion, making it the largest spot Bitcoin ETF by a significant margin.
ARK 21Shares' ARKB added $25.52 million, bringing its cumulative total to $1.4 billion. Fidelity's FBTC experienced outflows of $168 million during the week, though its cumulative asset base remains at $10.9 billion.
The concentration in IBIT meant that combined inflows from the top two funds exceeded the category's net total, indicating that other funds in the group saw net redemptions during the period.
Market Share and Recovery Trend
Total net assets across all spot Bitcoin ETFs reached approximately $108.89 billion, representing 6.42% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization.
Cumulative net inflows since the funds launched in January 2024 now total approximately $57.79 billion. The sector experienced significant redemptions earlier in 2026, with a net outflow deficit of about $5.8 billion by mid-July. The recovery began in August and accelerated in September, with the week ending September 25 recording $2.4 billion in inflows—the highest weekly figure to date.
Implications for Market Dynamics
At 6.42% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization, ETF holdings are substantial enough that sustained inflows or outflows through these vehicles can affect supply and demand dynamics in the broader market. The concentration of recent inflows in IBIT suggests that while money is returning to the category overall, adoption across other funds remains more modest.
