Stargate Finance now supports Anubis Chain, giving the privacy-focused network a direct connection to more than 100 chains through LayerZero. The integration was announced on November 5, 2026, and allows assets to move between Anubis and the wider LayerZero ecosystem using Stargate's existing liquidity rather than requiring the chain to build its own bridge infrastructure.
How the integration works
The connection follows Anubis Chain's adoption of LayerZero's OFT standard. OFT stands for Omnichain Fungible Token, a framework that lets a single token exist across many chains while maintaining one consistent supply.
Because Anubis is EVM-compatible, developers who already write code for Ethereum-style environments can access Stargate's liquidity infrastructure directly, with no custom bridge required.
The integration supports the distribution of stablecoins, real-world assets (RWAs), and other interoperable tokens across multiple chains. RWAs are tokenized versions of off-chain assets such as bonds or other financial instruments.
One practical benefit is that Anubis does not need to launch a fresh round of liquidity incentives to attract capital, since it can rely on cross-chain liquidity already held in Stargate's pools. No new asset launch or native Anubis token is tied to the connectivity upgrade; the focus is on moving existing assets more efficiently.
Anubis Chain's reported metrics
Anubis Chain positions itself around privacy and uses PLONK ZK-proofs, a form of zero-knowledge cryptography that lets a network verify something is true without revealing the underlying data. The network targets use cases in privacy, security, and AI/AGI applications, and its mainnet launched on April 8, 2026.
As of early November 2026, Anubis Chain reported:
- Over 200 million cumulative transactions
- Approximately 1.76 million accounts
- Peak transaction rates exceeding 2 million per day
- Roughly $333 million in total value locked (TVL) across its DeFi ecosystem
TVL measures how much capital users have deposited into a network's applications.
Stargate's role under LayerZero
Stargate Finance operates as LayerZero's flagship liquidity provider, a position formalized after the LayerZero Foundation acquired it in 2025. That acquisition shifted Stargate's financial center of gravity toward LayerZero's ZRO token. Holders of Stargate's original STG token can still convert to ZRO, with the conversion window open until December 15, 2026.
Each new chain integration reinforces Stargate's position as the default liquidity layer for the LayerZero ecosystem, and Anubis is the latest addition to a network that already spans more than 100 chains.
What the integration means for the ecosystem
For Anubis Chain, the immediate benefit is access: projects building on the network can move assets across many chains with less friction, which could make the chain more attractive to developers focused on capital efficiency.
For Stargate and the broader LayerZero ecosystem, each integration adds to a network effect, since more connected chains make the infrastructure more useful for the next chain deciding whether to join. That dynamic is especially relevant for ZRO as STG holders migrate ahead of the December 15, 2026 deadline, meaning growth in Stargate's footprint now feeds directly into the LayerZero story rather than a separate token.
There is also a strategic tension worth watching: Anubis is built around privacy, while cross-chain liquidity is fundamentally about moving assets into and out of other, often fully transparent, networks.
