Stargate Finance is ending support for four blockchains through Stargate v2 on October 23, 2026. The affected chains are Gravity Alpha Mainnet, Camp, GOAT Network and Metis Andromeda, all being cut due to low activity.
Users with liquidity in Stargate pools on these networks are urged to withdraw or bridge their assets before the cutoff date to maintain access to their funds.
Timeline and Deadlines
Two key dates mark this transition:
- October 23, 2026: Stargate v2 support ends for the four chains
- October 30, 2026: LayerZero's default DVN and Executor services cease on these networks
DVNs and Executors are off-chain services that LayerZero operates to validate and deliver cross-chain messages. Developers building on the impacted networks must establish new DVN and Executor configurations by October 30 if alternatives are available.
Impact by User Type
Liquidity providers should act early to avoid congestion during the final days before October 23. Waiting until the deadline risks competing with many other liquidity providers attempting to exit simultaneously.
Metis users have additional flexibility, as official Ethereum-Metis bridges remain operational. Users who entered through these official bridges can retain access to their assets. For Gravity, Camp and GOAT, the impact depends on alternative cross-chain routes available after Stargate's departure.
Developers face the most complex transition. Applications on these chains relying on LayerZero's default infrastructure must reconfigure or risk losing cross-chain functionality. If no replacement infrastructure exists for a given chain, these features could cease to operate.
Broader Cleanup Effort
This represents part of a larger LayerZero Labs initiative to wind down off-chain infrastructure services on chains with minimal usage. Earlier in 2026, Stargate and LayerZero already deprecated support for Aurora, Gnosis and Taiko.
A larger milestone follows: all Stargate v1 pools across every chain are scheduled to shut down on December 15, 2026.
