Strategy’s $250 Bitcoin-Themed Air Jordans Sell Out as Company Expands Consumer Brand

Strategy has sold out of its $250 Bitcoin-themed Air Jordans, marking a further expansion of Michael Saylor's corporate brand from Wall Street into consumer culture. The sneakers, which debuted on September 4 through the company's online store, were listed as unavailable across all nine advertised sizes by September 8.

The company did not disclose the total number of pairs offered or the exact time inventory ran out. The release extends Strategy’s Bitcoin identity beyond its balance sheet and securities business into direct-to-consumer merchandise.

Led by Saylor, Strategy holds 845,050 BTC, which accounts for approximately 4.02% of Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million supply. Following the dropping of the MicroStrategy name in February 2025, the company has increasingly centered its public image around its cryptocurrency holdings.

Product Details and Merchandise Catalog

The mid-top sneakers were inspired by the original Air Jordan 1 and featured custom company branding, leather overlays, Nike Air cushioning, and the Air Jordan Wings logo. Priced at $250 a pair, the shoes were offered in sizes ranging from 6.5 to 14.

The footwear joins a wider catalog centered around the company and Saylor’s Bitcoin persona. Other items include a $50 Bitcoin Strategy Game, a $125 Strategy hoodie, and a $35 organic cotton Saylor shirt. This merchandise offers the firm an additional revenue stream built around its audience without relying entirely on MSTR shares, preferred securities, or Bitcoin purchases.

Traditional Payment Methods at Checkout

The online storefront listed conventional payment methods at checkout, including American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Mastercard, and Visa. Bitcoin was not among the displayed payment options, though the published menu may not capture every available method.

Strategy has not announced a restock date for the Air Jordans, leaving it unconfirmed whether the footwear was a limited promotional drop or the beginning of a recurring consumer goods business.
