Strive has added 1,223 BTC to its corporate treasury, spending approximately $100 million between October 14 and 16 at an average price of $81,734 per bitcoin. The acquisition brings the Nasdaq-listed company's total holdings to 36,818 BTC as of October 16.
The latest purchase is part of a five-day buying spree that saw Strive acquire 4,045 BTC for roughly $335 million. The company is also preparing to raise additional capital through a preferred-stock offering.
Capital Raise in Progress
Strive recently priced 7 million shares of its new Series A perpetual preferred stock, branded SATS, at $90 per share, targeting approximately $630 million in gross proceeds. The offering carries a 15% annual dividend rate and is scheduled to settle on October 20, subject to customary conditions.
SATS is separate from SATA, Strive's original perpetual preferred stock. SATA holders have priority over SATS holders in dividend payments and in the event of liquidation. Both preferred shareholders receive distributions before holders of Strive's common stock.
Positioning Among Peers
With 36,818 BTC, Strive has surpassed MARA Holdings' reported 35,577 BTC treasury. The company has financed its bitcoin accumulation primarily through equity and preferred securities offerings rather than conventional borrowing. Traditional warrants issued in connection with Strive's September 2025 transaction have all been exercised or expired.
