Strive has expanded its corporate Bitcoin treasury once again, acquiring another 124 BTC for approximately $10 million. The latest transaction brings the company's total holdings to 43,124 BTC.
According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the purchase took place between October 24 and October 30. Strive paid an average of approximately $80,526 per BTC, including transaction fees and expenses. This follows an active period of accumulation for the company, which reported approximately $490.4 million in cash and cash equivalents as of October 30.
Preferred Stock Financing Program
For the latest acquisition, Strive utilized its SATS preferred stock at-the-market offering program for the first time, rather than relying solely on existing cash reserves. Launched on October 26, the financing arrangement allows the company to sell up to $1 billion in preferred shares over time, providing capital flexibility for future cryptocurrency purchases and corporate expenses.
Corporate Rankings and Competition
With its total reserves now reaching 43,124 BTC, Strive holds the position of fourth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder. The company is positioned closely behind several peers in the corporate treasury rankings:
- Strategy: Approximately 849,327 BTC
- Metaplanet: 44,000 BTC
- Twenty One Capital: 43,514 BTC
- Strive: 43,124 BTC
Strive currently sits 390 BTC behind Twenty One Capital and 876 BTC behind Metaplanet. CEO Matt Cole has previously expressed ambitions for Strive to become the second-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder before the end of 2026, though reaching that milestone depends on ongoing market conditions and the purchasing activity of competing firms.
