Strive has expanded its corporate Bitcoin treasury to 26,355 BTC after disclosing the purchase of 1,355 additional coins at an average price of roughly $79,475 each, according to an SEC filing dated September 21.
The acquisition increased Strive's direct Bitcoin holdings from 25,000 BTC to 26,355 BTC on its own corporate balance sheet. The company clarified that this figure represents its treasury position rather than Bitcoin held on behalf of outside investors through funds or managed products.
The purchase price places the acquisition near price levels where other corporate treasury buyers have been active during September. The size of the purchase positions Strive among the more active public-company Bitcoin accumulators in the current market.
Strive operates in asset management alongside maintaining its corporate treasury position. The distinction between the company's own holdings and client assets matters when comparing its position with other asset managers that custody Bitcoin for third parties.
The latest disclosure reflects the ongoing trend of corporate Bitcoin strategies expanding beyond the initial group of pioneering companies. The practical question for investors increasingly centers on how aggressively individual firms intend to finance their Bitcoin positions rather than whether they will hold the asset at all.
