Strive, a Nasdaq-listed company that holds Bitcoin as a treasury asset, purchased 4,045 BTC between October 12 and 16 at an average price of approximately $82,803 per coin, according to regulatory filings. The acquisition, valued at roughly $335 million, increased the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 36,818 BTC, up from 32,773 the previous week.
The purchase was funded through warrant exercises conducted on October 12 and 13. Investors exercised 273,493,909 warrants for 13,674,703 new Class A shares, raising approximately $369.2 million. The remaining warrants expired unexercised, and the filing confirms no traditional warrants remain outstanding.
Class A shares outstanding increased by approximately 13.5% in a week, rising from 101.2 million to 114.8 million shares. The company ended the week with $317.5 million in cash, up $7.2 million from the previous period.
Strive also priced a $630 million offering of preferred stock on October 15. The offering consists of 7 million shares of a new 15% Series A Perpetual preferred stock, designated as SATS, priced at $90 per share. The offering is scheduled to settle on October 20, with regular dividend dates beginning November 9.
Strive adopted Bitcoin as a treasury reserve in May 2025 following its merger with Asset Entities. In September, the company agreed to acquire Semler Scientific, a medical device maker holding approximately 5,000 BTC, in an all-stock transaction valued at about $1.3 billion. When Semler shareholders approved the deal in January, the combined company held roughly 12,800 BTC, representing near tripling of holdings since that time.
