From 17-18 June, the AI SUMMIT Kitzbühel returns for its third edition, bringing founders, enterprise leaders, investors and innovators together high above the Austrian Alps on the legendary Hahnenkamm mountain.
Unlike traditional conferences built around endless keynotes and crowded expo halls, the AI SUMMIT Kitzbühel was designed around conversation, connection and access. The summit places a strong focus on creating an environment where discussions continue long after sessions end – from gondola rides and mountain terraces to hikes, dinners and late nights.
This year marks the summit’s first full edition hosted directly on the Hahnenkamm itself, transforming one of Austria’s most iconic ski mountains into a temporary hub for Europe’s AI ecosystem.
A Different Kind of AI Summit
Founded by Lena Kornau, the AI SUMMIT Kitzbühel has quickly developed a reputation for attracting a highly curated audience of decision-makers across AI, enterprise technology, consulting, infrastructure, finance and digital transformation.
The goal was never to build another generic tech conference.
“We wanted to create a summit where the environment itself changes the way people interact,” says founder Lena Kornau. “Some of the most valuable conversations happen between sessions – not just on stage.”
This year’s summit will feature contributions and participation from leading global companies including SAP, IBM, Salesforce, Amber, Almato, and many others helping shape the future of AI adoption and implementation across industries.
Markus Lanz Panel and Summit Experiences
One of this year’s major highlights includes a special panel hosted by renowned German television presenter Markus Lanz, bringing together influential voices to discuss the broader societal, economic and human implications of artificial intelligence.
Attendees can expect a wide range of experiences and activities over the 2 days, including:
- Opening Networking Event
- Inspiring Mountain Stage Keynotes
- Deep Dive Sessions
- Masterclasses
- Expo Areas
- Official VIP Afterparty
- Private partner events in Kitzbühel
The summit’s unique setting encourages a more relaxed and authentic atmosphere than traditional industry events, helping create meaningful relationships between attendees, speakers and partners.
AI Beyond the Stage
Ahead of the summit, the organisation also recently released the second edition of the AI MAGAZINE, featuring perspectives from partners and contributors across AI, cybersecurity, automation, consulting, infrastructure and enterprise transformation.
The publication reflects the summit’s broader ambition of becoming more than just a yearly event – evolving into an ongoing platform for discussion, collaboration and thought leadership around artificial intelligence.
As AI continues reshaping industries worldwide, AI SUMMIT Kitzbühel aims to bring together not only the people building the technology, but also those shaping how it is implemented, governed and experienced across society.
AI SUMMIT Kitzbühel 2026 takes place from 17-18 June on the Hahnenkamm, Kitzbühel, Austria.
