THEO Token Debuts on Hydrex as Autheo Launches Public Trading

THEO, the native utility token powering Autheo's Internet Operating System, has officially begun public trading on Hydrex, a Base-native Omni-Liquidity MetaDEX. The token entered the market at a reference price of $0.05 against USDC, with Enflux acting as the official market maker.

According to the project, the public listing follows testing phases that included over 2 million wallets, 1.1 million smart contracts, and 10 million transactions on the testnet. The Mainnet is currently secured by 125 validators.

Tokenomics and Supply Structure

THEO features a maximum supply of 7.0 billion tokens. At the initial token generation event (TGE), approximately 5.33% of the supply was designated as circulating, resulting in an initial market capitalization of roughly $18.66 million at the $0.05 reference price. The fully diluted valuation stands at $350 million, though emissions are scheduled to be distributed gradually over a 10-year period.

The tokenomics model was developed with input from Ph.D.-level tokenomics researchers to support long-term network economics. A substantial majority of the initial allocation is earmarked for liquidity, with most of those tokens locked or unavailable for trading.

Token Utility and Ecosystem Role

THEO functions as the core utility and coordination asset within the Autheo Internet Operating System. Its uses include:

  • Paying for compute, storage, networking, messaging, AI services, and containers
  • Rewarding resource providers in the mesh network
  • Supporting validator and infrastructure node participation and staking
  • Facilitating network security, governance, and transaction fees

Autheo's infrastructure has undergone independent security audits, with Halborn reviewing the testnet and validator platform, CertiK auditing the Mainnet and smart contracts, and Avelar Labs evaluating the Base Autheo Mainnet bridge. Additional infrastructure support is provided by partners including Zeeve, InfStones, and Antier.

Autheo was founded by Scott Bayless and Todd Mortenson, launching its Mainnet on May 14, 2026. The project operates across four entities: Autheo, LLC; Autheo Labs, LLC; THEO Token Ltd; and the Autheo Foundation.
