Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange operating on its own Layer-1 blockchain, will unlock 3.75 million HYPE tokens valued at $340 million. The unlock represents 1.69% of the project's released supply of 474.83 million tokens against a total supply of 1 billion HYPE. The project previously announced that the unlocked tokens are directed to a single institutional buyer.
Ethena (ENA)
Unlock Date: October 5
Ethena, a synthetic dollar protocol built on Ethereum, will release 171.88 million ENA tokens worth $41.52 million on October 5. This unlock accounts for 1.88% of the released supply of 9.15 billion tokens out of a total supply of 15 billion ENA. The protocol's governance token distribution includes 93.75 million tokens awarded to core contributors and 78.13 million to investors.
Aptos (APT)
Unlock Date: October 11
Aptos, a Layer-1 blockchain platform designed for scalability and decentralized applications, will unlock 11.31 million APT tokens worth $9.06 million on October 11. The unlock represents 0.64% of the released supply of 1.76 billion tokens against a total supply of 2.55 billion APT (projected for 2035). Token distribution includes 3.96 million to core contributors, 3.21 million to the community, 2.81 million to investors, and 1.33 million to the foundation.
Additional projects including Aerodrome Finance (AERO), Movement (MOVE), and Babylon (BABY) will also see new token supplies enter the market during this period.
