Tokyo-Listed Remixpoint Exits All Altcoins, Pivots to Bitcoin-Only Treasury

Remixpoint, a Tokyo-listed energy and digital asset firm, has exited its entire altcoin holdings. In a timely disclosure filed on September 2, 2026, the company confirmed it sold all of its Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin on September 1, generating total proceeds of ¥878,814,569, approximately $5.5 million. The firm now holds only Bitcoin, approximately 1,506 BTC.

The single-day sales covered four assets: 901.44 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million DOGE. Against a combined book value of ¥761 million, Remixpoint booked a gain of ¥117,772,649, approximately $737,000. Ethereum and Solana carried the bulk of the profit, while XRP generated a modest gain. Dogecoin was the only position sold at a loss, at ¥3.25 million below cost.

The sales occurred during market turbulence, with Bitcoin declining below $77,000 on September 1 amid broader risk-off sentiment. Despite these conditions, Remixpoint closed the altcoin stack in profit relative to its fiscal-year opening book value, suggesting the exit was a planned strategic reallocation rather than forced liquidation.

The shift positions Remixpoint within Japan's growing wave of Bitcoin treasury companies. However, the firm's approach differs from larger peers like Metaplanet, which has pursued aggressive Bitcoin accumulation while also exploring productive collateral deployment. Remixpoint directed proceeds toward grid-scale battery projects.

During its holding period from February to August 2026, Remixpoint's Bitcoin generated yield through lending, producing 14.92 BTC, worth approximately ¥164.21 million. Combined Ethereum and Solana staking over the same window added ¥29.87 million.

The ¥117.8 million profit will be booked as Q2 FY2027 revenue for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, with proceeds directed toward battery storage expansion and strengthening shareholder value.
