The Tron network has officially crossed the milestone of 400 million accounts, doubling its user base in under three years and reinforcing its position as a major settlement layer for stablecoins.
Launched with its genesis block in June 2018, the network took four years to reach its first 100 million accounts. Growth accelerated significantly in subsequent years, hitting 200 million accounts by the fourth quarter of 2023 and 300 million by the second quarter of 2025. The latest addition of 100 million accounts brings the total to 400 million.
Since its inception, Tron has processed more than 15.2 billion transactions, with cumulative transfer volume nearing $30 trillion. Stablecoin activity heavily drives this momentum. Tron currently settles 51.4% of all circulating USDT, accounting for a float of $94.2 billion. Over the past 30 days, the network averaged 4.64 million daily active accounts, with peak August sessions surpassing 5 million and daily additions of approximately 170,000 new addresses.
Founder Justin Sun acknowledged the milestone on social media, stating that the network is continuing to build. Meanwhile, Tron Inc., the project's corporate treasury arm, expanded its holdings by purchasing an additional 145,199 TRX at an average price of $0.3444, bringing its total treasury to 711.5 million TRX valued at roughly $245 million. TRX was trading near $0.344 at press time, resulting in a market capitalization of about $32.6 billion.
