TRON reached a significant milestone in the third quarter of 2026, surpassing $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume as the network continued its expansion in stablecoin settlement and digital-asset infrastructure.
According to TRON DAO's Q3 2026 ecosystem report, stablecoin settlement reached $2.21 trillion during the quarter, with average daily volume rising 3.9% from the prior quarter to $24.05 billion. Stablecoin supply, measured through USDT and USDD, reached $93.88 billion, up 5.5% from Q2, while total value locked across the network hit $28.21 billion.
Network Growth and Activity Metrics
The network's active-address base expanded, with average rolling monthly active addresses increasing 9.8% to 18 million. Transaction frequency remained broadly steady throughout the quarter.
Network fee generation moderated during the period. Fees totaled $701.4 million in Q3, averaging $7.62 million daily, down 4.0% from Q2. The average daily transaction fee declined from $0.668 to $0.643.
Ecosystem Expansions and Integrations
TRON expanded its ecosystem collaborations in Q3 through several institutional and infrastructure partnerships. Anchorage Digital added TRX staking and TRC-20 custody services, while Bitnomial and Backpack expanded access to TRX markets. Ethena brought stablecoin products to the network, and Ducat connected its Bitcoin-backed financial infrastructure to TRON's stablecoin ecosystem.
Developer and user-facing integrations also broadened during the quarter. MoonPay introduced gasless transactions through Trust Wallet, removing the need for users to hold TRX for network fees. Bitcoin.com Wallet added native support for TRX and USDT-TRC20, while MetaMask connectivity expanded across multiple applications. Fireblocks Flow added payment support from TRON wallets, and cross-chain stablecoin connectivity expanded through Eco and STON.fi. For developers, Privy expanded wallet and transaction capabilities, while OpenZeppelin brought smart contract libraries and security tooling to the network.
Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF on September 9, 2026, providing investors exposure to TRX spot price alongside passive staking rewards. TRON DAO's team marked the launch by ringing the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago on September 29.
