Uniswap recorded 2,295 new UNI‑related wallets in one day, marking its strongest daily network growth since November 2022, according to data from Santiment.
The surge in wallet creation coincides with recent ecosystem upgrades, including the launch of Aggregator Hooks on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain, which enable Uniswap v4 pools to tap external liquidity and broaden trading routes.
At the same time, an over‑the‑counter wallet moved approximately 180,000 UNI, valued at about $1.25 million, to Binance, prompting concerns about potential selling pressure. Nevertheless, spot buying remained dominant, suggesting that demand continued to absorb the supply.
UNI’s market price has fallen from near $11 to around $7 amid broader market weakness, trading at $6.80 after a 5.4% decline over the previous 24 hours. Despite the price pullback, the token has posted a 20.5% gain year‑to‑date.
Recent activity metrics show $75.7 billion in 30‑day trading volume, $94.3 million in fees, $11.4 million in protocol revenue, $7.2 billion in total value locked and 5.7 million monthly active users.
If UNI sustains a price above $7.50, analysts suggest it could signal renewed bullish momentum, while a drop below $7 accompanied by slower wallet growth might indicate short‑term excitement rather than lasting demand.
