US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds ended a two-week losing streak with $301.2 million in net inflows for the trading week ending October 24, according to provisional weekly figures. The prior two weeks had combined net outflows of about $910 million.
Early-week buying outweighed late-week selling
The week reversed direction after a strong start. Monday brought $526.7 million in inflows, Tuesday added $23.2 million, and Wednesday contributed $524.8 million, for roughly $1.07 billion across three sessions.
Flows then turned negative. Thursday recorded $635.6 million in outflows, the week’s largest single-day redemption, and Friday followed with $137.9 million in outflows, according to Decrypt’s ETF tracker. Late-week outflows totaled $773.5 million, leaving the $301.2 million net gain.
BlackRock’s IBIT leads, but is not immune
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, ticker IBIT, was the biggest weekly contributor with $565.7 million in week-to-date inflows. That amount exceeded the total net inflow across all funds, meaning the rest of the field was net negative collectively.
IBIT also saw $110.3 million in outflows on Friday, the heaviest single-fund redemption that day. Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $31.8 million in Friday outflows, suggesting the late-week selling was not limited to one issuer.
Ether funds diverge
Spot Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction, recording a net outflow of about $221 million over the same week.
Bitcoin price stays contained
Bitcoin traded around $80,490 after a 1% move. The asset stayed within a band of roughly $80,000 to $84,000 during the week, despite more than $1 billion moving in and out of the funds. Traders on Myriad priced a 43% chance that Bitcoin would drop to $77,500 this month.
ETF complex by the numbers
Total assets under management for US spot Bitcoin ETFs are estimated between $104.7 billion and $109 billion. Cumulative net inflows have topped $57 billion since the products launched in January 2024.
