US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $201.81 million in net outflows on Friday, ending a nine-day inflow streak that had accumulated roughly $3.044 billion in fresh capital. The outflows pushed total assets under management across the 12 listed funds below $100 billion to approximately $96.5 billion.
Bitcoin's price performance contributed to the selloff. After rising above $81,000 during a rally supported by US Treasury buyback operations, the price retreated below $78,000, prompting institutional investors to reduce their holdings.
Fund-by-fund breakdown
ARK 21Shares' ARKB led losses with $114.89 million in net outflows, representing more than half of the day's total redemptions. Bitwise's BITB followed with $49.69 million heading for exits, while BlackRock's IBIT shed $33.40 million. VanEck's HODL posted $13.17 million in outflows.
Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only standout performer, attracting $9.34 million in new capital.
