US spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $189.15 million in net inflows, marking the largest single-day haul since October 28, 2025. The influx follows months of capital outflows from institutional investment products.
Major Fund Contributions
BlackRock's ETHA product led the buying activity, absorbing approximately $122 million and accounting for roughly 65% of the total daily inflows. Fidelity's FETH followed with $36.54 million, while Grayscale's mini ETH fund added $16 million.
Cumulative inflows for August have surpassed $530 million, positioning it as the strongest month for the sector so far. In contrast, May and June experienced a combined total of more than $1 billion in net outflows.
Total Assets and Supply Dynamics
Data from SoSoValue indicates that total net assets across all US spot Ethereum ETFs stand at approximately $12.06 billion, representing nearly 4.5% of Ethereum's total market capitalization.
Simultaneously, exchange data from Santiment shows that the amount of ETH held on exchanges decreased by about 15% over an eleven-week period, dropping from 7.70 million ETH on June 2 to 6.54 million ETH by August 18. Following these developments, ETH's price rose 18% in a single day to reclaim the $2,000 level.
Market observers note that simultaneous positive flows across multiple funds, including contributions to Fidelity's FETH alongside BlackRock's dominant share, point toward a sector-wide shift in institutional positioning rather than demand for a single product.
