US spot XRP exchange-traded funds took in roughly $4.25 million in net inflows last week, reversing a $1.84 million outflow the week before that had ended a 13-week inflow streak.
The sum is modest by Wall Street standards, but the timing stands out: XRP products were attracting money during a stretch in which spot ETFs tied to Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana all reported net outflows.
Where the money went
The rebound covered the week of October 22-23, with most of the activity concentrated in two sessions.
- October 21: $709,000 in inflows
- October 22: $3.55 million in inflows, the strongest daily figure of the period
Franklin Templeton's XRPZ fund accounted for a significant share of the week's inflows and was the clear driver of the recovery. Bitwise's XRP ETF told a messier story, logging both inflows and outflows over the week for an essentially neutral result.
A growing asset base
Since launching in November 2025, the XRP ETF category has built cumulative net inflows of around $1.8 billion. Total net assets sit somewhere between $1.48 billion and $1.57 billion, depending on the reporting date.
The gap between cumulative inflows and current assets reflects the movement of the underlying token: when the asset inside an ETF falls in price, the holdings shrink even if no shares are sold. XRP traded in a range of $1.27 to $1.36 during the period, with resistance around the $1.40 mark.
The prior week's $1.84 million outflow also reads differently in context. After more than three months of steady buying, a single week of withdrawals looked less like a stampede than a pause, and the following week's $4.25 million more than covered the loss.
Swimming against the current
The most notable feature of the week was the contrast with the rest of the crypto ETF market. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana products all saw net outflows over the same stretch, with Solana funds extending an ongoing run of withdrawals that points to prolonged negative sentiment toward that asset among ETF buyers.
What it means
The inflow rebound suggests demand for XRP exposure through regulated wrappers has not dried up. The concentration of new money in Franklin Templeton's XRPZ could indicate a targeted institutional strategy rather than a broad retail wave, while Bitwise's product treaded water.
The disconnect between fund flows and price remains the key item to watch. Inflows have not yet translated into a sustained XRP recovery, and the token remains below the $1.40 resistance level.
