The USD1 stablecoin has crossed $60 billion in cumulative trading volume on Binance since its launch in March 2025 by World Liberty Financial, a company partly co-founded by the Trump family. Analyst Darkfost highlighted the milestone, noting that the figure is significant for a token launched less than 18 months ago. The asset is backed by U.S. dollars and short-term U.S. Treasury bills and operates under an institutional-style compliance framework.
USD1's market capitalization stands at approximately $4.33 billion, while monthly trading volumes on Binance have stabilized between $5 billion and $8 billion. However, analysts point out that a large share of the market capitalization is driven by a single institutional transaction—a $2 billion settlement tied to a Binance investment. Consequently, trading volume is viewed as a more accurate gauge of ongoing usage than market capitalization alone.
Binance holds roughly 70% of the stablecoins present on exchanges, giving the platform a substantial footprint in stablecoin trading. Darkfost noted that the steady monthly trading pattern reflects repeated usage over time rather than a temporary spike.
In a separate market update, analyst CW8900 examined broader crypto fund flows, noting that bull markets typically coincide with capital entering the ecosystem through stablecoins. According to CW8900, the Stablecoin Supply Ratio (SSR) has maintained an upward trend following a golden cross formation, which is interpreted as a bullish signal. The analysis also observed that Bitcoin continues to maintain positive momentum alongside ongoing stablecoin inflows.
