USDT on the TRON network has become the most-used onchain cryptocurrency payment option on CoinsBee, a platform that enables cryptocurrency holders to purchase gift cards, payment cards, gaming credits, and mobile top-ups from over 5,000 brands across more than 180 countries.
Over a 90-day period ending September 1, 2026, USDT on TRON recorded approximately 1.8 times as many payments as Bitcoin and 1.9 times as many as Ethereum on the platform. The stablecoin accounted for 16.23% of all CoinsBee payments in 2026 to date, compared with 9.92% in 2025—a 64% increase in its share of total payments.
USDT on TRON also represented a substantial portion of total USDT activity on CoinsBee. During the same 90-day period, TRC-20 USDT accounted for 44.6% of USDT payments but 64.5% of USDT turnover, indicating that the average transaction value for TRON-based USDT purchases exceeded that of other networks supporting the stablecoin.
Spending Patterns Across Categories
In the United States, the most frequently purchased brands using USDT on TRON included Amazon, Apple, AT&T, PlayStation, Uber, Walmart, Sephora, and DoorDash. Purchases spanned retail, mobile connectivity, gaming, transportation, and food delivery categories.
Joint Campaign and Discount Offer
CoinsBee and TRON DAO launched a joint campaign from September 21 through October 5, 2026. Eligible users of the CoinsBee mobile app received a 2% discount on purchases made with USDT on TRON by entering the code USDT-TRC. The offer was limited to one per user.
CoinsBee serves more than 500,000 customers and supports over 200 cryptocurrencies. TRON hosts the largest circulating supply of USD Tether, which exceeded $94 billion as of the announcement date.
