VeChain's VET token has gained momentum after months of consolidation, breaking above a descending structure that had limited price action. At press time, VET was trading around $0.007780, up 18% and among stronger performers in the market.
The price recovery coincides with VeChain's preparation for InterStellar, the next phase of its Renaissance roadmap. The upgrade centers on VIP-255, which introduces Ethereum Virtual Machine improvements based on Ethereum's Cancun, Prague, and Osaka releases.
InterStellar Upgrade Details
VIP-255 is scheduled for September 16 and includes transient storage, MCOPY, updated contract behavior, historical block information, and additional transaction and block-size safeguards. VeChain says the changes are designed to preserve the network's distinctive architecture while making it easier for developers to deploy modern EVM applications and tooling to VeChainThor.
The Renaissance roadmap places InterStellar alongside VeChain's efforts toward cross-chain connectivity, real-world adoption, and an expanding application ecosystem. The network has completed Galactica and Hayabusa phases before moving into InterStellar.
Technical Resistance Levels
VET price is approaching significant resistance in the $0.0075–$0.0080 range. The token must sustain a move above $0.00816–$0.0085 to strengthen the breakout and bring $0.0095 into focus. Above that, the $0.01 level becomes the next potential target.
If VET fails to clear supply resistance and slips back below $0.0070–$0.0072, the breakout could prove another failed recovery. The immediate focus for traders is whether the token can establish a new price range at higher levels or whether the rally reverses.
