A single wallet address accumulated more than $4.7 million in combined gains by trading two memecoins on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 network built on Arbitrum technology.
Trade Details
Onchain trackers identified address 0x7e3ba as the holder behind two profitable trades executed in close succession:
- The first trade involved a $106.5K purchase of 11.8 million CASHCAT tokens, which were sold in full for $672.6K, yielding a realized profit of $566K.
- The second trade involved a $113.7K purchase of 10.2 million PONS tokens. The wallet sold 1.1 million of those tokens for $117.1K and still holds 9.1 million tokens worth approximately $4.2 million at current prices.
The combined result places total profit above $4.7 million, with the majority remaining unrealized.
Robinhood Chain Context
Both tokens launched on Robinhood Chain, which went live in July and has since become a venue for rapid memecoin price movements. CASHCAT was among the first tokens to experience a breakout on the network, surging more than 1,400% in a single 24-hour period in its launch month.
PONS serves as the platform token for Pons, a token-creation and issuance service built on Robinhood Chain. Pons collects fees in WETH and uses them to repurchase and burn its own supply. On August 30, the platform generated more than $930,000 in application revenue, representing roughly 35% of total earnings across the Robinhood Chain ecosystem that day.
Liquidity Concerns
The trades highlight the wide gap between market capitalization and available liquidity that can exist during memecoin rallies. CASHCAT at one point carried a $150 million market valuation on just $6.6 million in actual liquidity. Such thin liquidity means paper gains at elevated prices may not be fully realizable, as a wave of coordinated selling could drive prices well below current levels.
The wallet's remaining PONS position is still subject to this dynamic, and its eventual outcome will depend on whether the token continues to generate the fee revenue that underpins demand.
