Identity-focused crypto project World Network launched a self-custodial financial super app called World Money on Thursday, September 17. The application is now available in 150 countries and combines digital asset rewards, trading, and stablecoin payments.
The newly released platform provides access to several mini-apps, including Stripe, Kalshi, Credit, and Morpho. It supports eight currencies, and an integration with Stripe enables a U.S. funding flow that lets users convert funds from Apple Pay directly into stablecoins. World Money was developed by Tools for Humanity, a company co-founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman.
Following the platform's release, market sentiment improved and WLD's price increased by 15%. Derivatives data showed an 8.5% increase in Open Interest over a 24-hour period, while spot CVD began to recover and move higher, indicating organic demand for the altcoin. Derivatives market conditions also remained healthy, with positive but non-overextended funding rates.
On the daily timeframe, technical indicators pointed to a shifting price structure. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) registered at +0.07, the Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) indicator rose over recent days, and the Directional Movement Index (DMI) suggested a strong uptrend was underway. The local supply zone near $0.41 was cleared and successfully retested as support, with short-term technical indicators on the 2-hour chart also reflecting bullish momentum.
