Worldcoin [WLD] gained 7.4% over the past 24 hours, outperforming most of the top 45 crypto assets according to CoinMarketCap data.
The rally follows a volatile period earlier in the week. Market corrections on October 7th and 8th triggered nearly $9 million in long liquidations for Worldcoin across the two-day span. The recent price bounce has reversed that pressure, with $1.36 million in short liquidations recorded on October 10th. The broader crypto market has remained relatively quiet, with only $65.19 million in total liquidations across both directions during this period.
Technical outlook
On shorter timeframes, Worldcoin displayed bullish structure. The October correction pushed the asset down to sweep the $0.466 swing low, but buyers mounted a strong reaction from that level. Immediate resistance levels are identified at $0.619 and $0.655, with the June swing high of $0.723 representing another potential price target.
Long-term technical analysis, however, presents a different picture. From a September 2025 peak of $2.21, WLD declined 89.64% to $0.2267 by May 2026—a pattern common among altcoins. The recent 138.8% rally from May lows still leaves the asset significantly below the $1.21 midpoint of its all-time range. Reclaiming the $2.21 high would be necessary to establish a sustained long-term uptrend, according to technical analysis.
The strength of Worldcoin's near-term performance could depend on broader market conditions, particularly Bitcoin's price stability.
