XRP’s network activity accelerated on a day when crypto usage typically slows, with 7,934 new wallets created on Nov. 1, according to Santiment. The total was the sixth-highest daily wallet creation figure of 2026 and stood out because Sundays are usually quieter for crypto network activity.
The wallet growth came as XRP’s price hovered near $1.25. Santiment said the increase suggests usage is improving while the price remains under pressure. The activity followed a busy week for XRP and came just after the Binance hack, which may have pushed more users toward self-custody and new wallets, according to the source.
Levels to watch
Santiment identified $1.25 as the immediate pivot and $1.30 as the first level that would confirm stronger momentum. If daily new-wallet growth stays above roughly 4,000 and XRP reclaims $1.30, the setup looks more constructive, according to the analysis. A drop below $1.20 with growth under 3,000 would weaken that signal.
CryptoPotato also reported that XRP whale outflows on Binance surged to nearly three times the September 2022 reading. Those outflows could ease near-term selling pressure, according to the report.
Fear dominates sentiment
XRP and other top caps including Bitcoin and Ethereum have seen weakening sentiment for nearly two months, with the Binance hack accelerating the decline, according to the source. As prices fell and fear spread, bullish commentary collapsed.
XRP now has 0.61 bullish comments for every bearish one, while Bitcoin stands at around 0.69, according to Santiment. Ethereum is holding up better at around 1.14, but enthusiasm has still fallen sharply from September.
Santiment said the darkest sentiment periods have often created the strongest contrarian opportunities once panic has had time to settle. The community is still reeling from crypto’s largest-ever hack, making the current situation particularly difficult, according to the source. If BTC and XRP sentiment stays below 1.0 while prices stop making new lows, a mid-term relief rally could eventually take shape, Santiment said.
“Extreme fear alone does not mark the exact bottom, but fear plus price stabilization has often been a much stronger signal,” Santiment said.
