XRP has fallen below $1.30 after being rejected at $1.40 last week, prompting analysts to offer starkly different predictions about the token's next move.
Analyst Ali Martinez has outlined a bearish scenario. He noted that XRP Ledger wallets holding between 10 million and 100 million tokens declined from 351 to 339 over recent weeks, suggesting major holders may be reducing exposure. Simultaneously, exchange balances have increased from 11.003 billion to 11.05 billion tokens—a gain of 50 million coins—which could intensify selling pressure if large holders continue moving tokens to trading platforms.
Martinez identified $1.26 as a critical technical level, describing it as the lower boundary of a channel XRP has formed since August. A break below this level could push the asset toward $1.11, with potential further decline to $0.98, representing a 22% drop from current levels. These August lows mark the bear case threshold.
In contrast, analyst EGRAG CRYPTO remains bullish. He argues that XRP may be forming a triple-bottom structure that could precede a substantial upside move. EGRAG cited the 44-week moving average as the key battleground between buyers and sellers, suggesting that if XRP closes above this level on the weekly chart, it could signal a decisive bullish shift.
Both analysts are watching the same support region but drawing opposite conclusions. The differing views hinge on whether current price action represents capitulation by large holders or accumulation before a major rally.
