XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE) are displaying multiple on-chain and technical signals that suggest they may be undervalued, according to recent market analysis. The 365-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio, which compares an asset's market value to its realized value based on historical cost basis, stands at 0.92 for XRP and 0.74 for Dogecoin. These readings are below 1, a level that typically indicates the average holder is at a loss and that the asset may be undervalued relative to its cost basis.
XRP's Undervaluation and Volume Spike
At 0.92, XRP's MVRV ratio suggests the asset is extremely undervalued due to capitulation, which may present a macro accumulation zone with less risk of a sell-off. Supporting this view, the XRP Ledger recorded a 59.37% spike in transactional volume in the recent day. Alongside Bitcoin's rise to near $83K, this helped XRP break above the $1.25 support level to a current price of $1.34. Should the momentum continue, the analysis notes a potential extension toward $2, representing a 49% gain from the current level.
Dogecoin's Buy Signal and Resistance
Dogecoin's 365-day MVRV ratio is even lower at 0.74, indicating a more pronounced undervaluation. Additionally, the TD Sequential indicator recently presented a buy opportunity near $0.081. A similar signal at this price previously led to an 18.74% rally. At press time, DOGE has gained 2.70% in the day to trade at $0.0817. However, the $0.0813 zone is currently the heaviest resistance area between DOGE's current price and $0.2144 on the URPD chart. While breaking above this zone would be a positive sign, it does not guarantee that buyers will maintain defense.
Comparison with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Chainlink
According to crypto intelligence platform Santiment, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Chainlink (LINK) are in a more neutral position, with 365-day MVRV values ranging between 0.97 and 1.04. This suggests the average investor in these assets is near break-even, reducing the risk of aggressive profit-taking or dumping. Compared to these three assets, XRP and DOGE present a potentially better buying opportunity with the potential for higher profits, based on the MVRV metric.
