XRP is trading near $1.31 after an extended decline from the $1.50 area, with technical analysis revealing a cluster of three separate buy signals in the same price region. The daily chart shows a Sequential 13, a TD 9, and an Aggressive 13 appearing around $1.30-$1.32.
These signals measure different stages of directional moves and extended exhaustion. A TD 9 tracks consecutive closes to identify when a trend is becoming stretched, while the 13-counts monitor a longer period of exhaustion. When multiple signals cluster in the same zone following a prolonged decline, it suggests selling pressure may be approaching exhaustion.
However, technical signals identifying exhaustion conditions do not guarantee a reversal has occurred. The signals indicate conditions where a reversal can develop, but buyers must step in to produce an actual price reaction.
Resistance Levels Define Recovery Path
If the $1.30-$1.32 region establishes itself as a local floor, $1.40 becomes the first level XRP needs to clear in a recovery. Reaching $1.40 from $1.31 would require a gain of approximately 6.9%.
A move through $1.40 would provide initial evidence that the exhaustion signals are receiving follow-through buying interest. XRP would then face more significant resistance near $1.50, which would represent a roughly 14.5% recovery from current levels. The $1.50 area marks where the recent decline accelerated.
Downside Risk Remains
If XRP continues declining despite the TD Sequential readings, the signals would have failed to establish an immediate turning point. A loss of the $1.30 support area would keep focus on lower support levels rather than the projected recovery targets.
The technical setup has shifted following the three-signal cluster, but confirmation requires actual price movement. A sustained recovery above $1.40 would strengthen the local-bottom case, while reclaiming $1.50 would represent a more substantial recovery of XRP's recent bearish structure.
