US spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $740,000 in net inflows on October 14, while funds tracking Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Hyperliquid lost nearly $400 million combined that day.
According to SoSoValue data, XRP ETFs have attracted net inflows for 13 consecutive weeks. The last weekly outflow of approximately $7.2 million occurred in the week ending July 10. Cumulative net inflows now stand at $1.80 billion, though inflows have moderated since peaking at $75.6 million in the week ending September 25.
Despite sustained ETF demand, XRP's price performance has remained weak. The token traded at $1.31 at the time of reporting, down 5.11% over 24 hours and approximately 64% below its all-time high of $3.65, set on July 17, 2025. The price decline has reduced XRP ETF net assets from $1.77 billion on September 25 to $1.51 billion.
Large holders have been increasing deposits to Binance at elevated levels. Analyst reports indicate that 30-day XRP whale inflows to Binance reached 1.669 billion XRP, a seven-month high compared to roughly 1.65 billion XRP in September. Higher exchange balances can increase available supply for trading, though analysts note such transfers may reflect wallet management or access to other exchange services rather than immediate selling pressure.
XRP appears caught between conflicting forces: sustained ETF buying interest and elevated whale deposits to the Binance exchange. Market movements have largely followed broader cryptocurrency trends, with prices declining following a higher-than-expected US Consumer Price Index report on October 14.
