XRP ETFs Record $110.49 Million Weekly Inflow, Highest of 2026

Spot XRP exchange-traded funds posted their best weekly performance of 2026, pulling in $110.49 million in net inflows for the week ending August 28. The surge brought cumulative net inflows to $1.66 billion, with total net assets across all funds climbing to $1.44 billion.

This week's inflow more than doubled the previous 2026 high of $60.5 million recorded in mid-May. However, it remains below the all-time record of $243.95 million set during the week ending in late November 2025.

Much of 2026 saw subdued activity in XRP ETF flows, with negative inflows recorded in late January, mid-March, and briefly in July, followed by minimal activity through early August before this week's breakout.

Trading Volume Surges

Trading activity spiked alongside the inflow surge, with $363.03 million in XRP ETF volume—the busiest week since these funds launched. On August 28 specifically, XRP ETFs posted a $26.20 million net inflow, while Bitcoin funds saw $201.81 million in net outflows and Ethereum funds saw $102.18 million in net outflows.

Price Divergence

The inflow acceleration did not coincide with XRP price strength. As of August 29, XRP traded near $1.38, down 2.3% over 24 hours and 7.8% over the past week, after testing resistance near $1.70 earlier in the period before pulling back sharply.

Total net assets across XRP ETFs nearly tripled in a single week, jumping from roughly $933 million to $1.44 billion, suggesting that institutional capital continued accumulating despite the token's price correction.
