XRP ETFs Record Inflows as Token Faces $1.40 Resistance

US spot Ripple [XRP] ETFs showed renewed investor interest last week, adding $4.25 million after recording a $1.84 million outflow the previous week. The inflows stand out amid broader weakness in cryptocurrency markets, as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana ETFs recorded net outflows during the same period.

The XRP ETF net asset value currently stands at nearly $1.5 billion, representing a substantial investor base. While the recent weekly addition remains modest relative to this total, continued inflows would suggest strengthening institutional demand for the asset.

Technical Resistance Challenges XRP Price Action

XRP remains trapped within a long-term downward trending channel, with the token creating lower highs as it extends previous downtrends. Buyers have twice attempted to breach $1.40 resistance, only to face rejection at a descending trendline. Failed attempts sent prices lower, and the token currently trades below $1.35.

The MACD histogram has shown slight positive signals recently, suggesting potential short-term momentum improvements, though both indicator lines continue to trade below zero. For XRP to challenge its bearish setup, it will need to demonstrate greater ETF inflows and successfully break through the $1.40 resistance level.

Liquidation Clusters Shape Near-Term Volatility

XRP's recent recovery toward $1.40 has brought liquidation clusters into focus. A concentrated liquidity zone exists between $1.32 and $1.34, which could face liquidation if the token pushes toward $1.40. Below current price levels, another liquidity cluster sits near $1.29–$1.30.

Breaking through the uppermost liquidity cluster at $1.32 could increase upside volatility toward $1.40. Conversely, renewed selling pressure could drive prices toward lower liquidity zones and amplify downside momentum.
