Analyst Ali Martinez flagged buy signals including a Sequential 13, followed by a TD 9 and an Aggressive 13, indicating a possible local bottom could be forming. Martinez identified $1.25 as a key support level to monitor. If XRP bounces from that price, the token could climb toward $1.42, with a stronger move potentially reaching $1.6 based on the parallel channel the token is trading within.
Separately, analyst ChartNerd identified $1.5 as a critical level XRP needs to break through for a more significant upward move, which could bring $1.8 and $2 into focus.
Institutional Momentum Building
US-listed spot XRP ETFs attracted $740,410 in net flows on October 14 after three consecutive days of zero inflows, with Bitwise's fund receiving the capital. So far in October, the ETFs have accumulated $12.8 million in net flows.
Ripple expanded its institutional offerings through Ripple Prime, which now provides swap financing for leveraged ETF strategies via its prime brokerage platform. This development followed an expanded partnership with hedge fund manager Brevan Howard aimed at broadening services for hedge funds and investment managers.
Standard Chartered launched custody support for Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin through its Dubai International Financial Centre branch in partnership with LMAX Group, strengthening institutional infrastructure around the XRP ecosystem.
XRP treasury firm Evernorth made its Nasdaq debut on October 12 following a merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The firm holds approximately 473 million XRP and has named Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase, and BitGo as execution partners. Evernorth plans to deploy its crypto holdings into institutional strategies beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026.
