Ripple Prime has launched support for real-world asset (RWA) perpetual swaps, allowing institutional clients to trade exposure to more than 100 markets, including stocks, equity indices, ETFs, metals, energy, and foreign exchange, around the clock. Institutional trading firm Virtu is among the clients using the service. The swaps reference perpetual futures listed by Trade.xyz on Hyperliquid. Clients can also use Ripple USD (RLUSD) as collateral and cross-margin their positions across supported asset classes, helping manage capital and risk through a single prime brokerage relationship. Ripple said the service is currently available under its CIV BVI license, with plans to expand into additional regions. The launch comes amid growing trading activity in perpetual futures linked to traditional financial assets.
