Ripple's XRP token is drawing mixed analyst commentary as the asset navigates recent weakness. Trading around $1.38 with a market capitalization of approximately $86 billion, XRP has declined nearly 7% over the past week from its August peak.
Bullish Case
Several analysts view current price levels as constructive. Ali Martinez contends that XRP has cleared resistance and sets the next target at $1.70. He also highlighted solid institutional interest, pointing to spot XRP exchange-traded funds that attracted more than $110 million in inflows last weekâthe largest weekly inflow since December 2025. The ETFs have recorded nine consecutive green days, their longest streak in eight months.
Other analysts have made similar calls. One X user identified $1.38 as a key support level and cited Elliott Wave analysis suggesting near-term targets of $1.88 and $7.07. Another analyst stated that XRP has broken out of a downtrend and could rally toward $2.50, $3.50, $6, and $13.
Cautious Outlook
Not all analysts expect an immediate advance. Some analysts predict a pullback before any sustained rally, with one forecasting a retreat to $1.17 before a new bull run toward higher levels. Another analyst noted that XRP failed to reclaim its 50-week moving average for the second consecutive week, warning that consecutive weekly closes below that level could trigger a deeper correction. This analyst identified $1.27, the level of the 20-period exponential moving average, as a near-term support floor.
