Bitcoin posted a 25% weekly gain, trading near $78,702 after reaching its highest level since May. The rally helped three large‑cap altcoins – Zcash (ZEC), Aave (AAVE) and XRP – post their strongest weekly price moves.
Zcash clears November 2025 peak
Zcash rose 75.5% last week, its biggest weekly candle of the cycle, and now trades around $846.51, down 1.19% over the past 24 hours. The price moved above the November 2025 peak of $749 and entered a target zone that ends at the 1.272 Fibonacci extension near $903. The next extension level is at $1,099, while support sits near $628 with a deeper floor at $533. The weekly RSI reached 70, indicating the asset is near overbought territory, and volume was thin before the recent spike.
Aave breaks seven‑month descending channel
Aave gained 64.5% and broke out of a descending parallel channel that had constrained it since January. The token now trades at about $136.08, down 3.08% on the day. The breakout cleared a $125 resistance band, which now acts as support, and the former channel floor around $90 serves as the next defensive level. The next hurdle is near $150, a zone the price approached in early January. A weekly RSI of 60 suggests there is still room before overbought conditions develop.
XRP ends 13‑month descending trendline
XRP rose 53% and broke a descending trendline drawn from its July 2025 record near $3.66. The token trades at roughly $1.50, down 1.02% over 24 hours. The breakout candle recorded the highest volume since February, indicating genuine participation. Price also moved above the May swing high of $1.4735, turning that level into support, while resistance now sits at the 0.618 Fibonacci level near $1.70. The weekly RSI is at 57, keeping the outlook neutral.
Outlook linked to Bitcoin
All three setups depend on Bitcoin maintaining its gains. A rejection of Bitcoin below $80,000 could stall the altcoins at their first resistance levels, while continued strength keeps the $903 target for Zcash, $150 for Aave and $1.70 for XRP in play.
