Bitcoin ETF Inflows Resume Amid Four-Day Swing Pattern as Altcoins Post First Outflows in Two Weeks

US spot Bitcoin ETFs returned to inflows on Wednesday, attracting $101.2 million after posting $236.5 million in outflows the previous day. The reversal extended a four-session pattern of investors alternating between buying and selling the funds.

Bitcoin's price has reflected similar volatility, fluctuating between roughly $77,300 and $80,268 over the past several trading sessions. Despite the choppy trading, Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated more than $3 billion in fresh capital over the past 30 days.

Altcoin Funds Break Long Streaks

Ethereum, XRP, and Solana ETFs posted their first outflows in nearly two weeks on Wednesday, ending extended periods of consistent buying pressure. Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded approximately $48 million in net outflows, snapping 12 consecutive trading days of inflows that had brought in roughly $1.62 billion. Cumulative net inflows into Ethereum funds reached about $13.03 billion before the reversal.

XRP ETF products withdrew $7.2 million after 11 straight sessions of inflows, during which investors had added roughly $170 million. Solana funds saw approximately $6 million in outflows following an 11-session inflow streak that had attracted about $193 million.

Market Direction Unclear

The simultaneous breaks in altcoin buying represent a notable shift from the previous period, when Ethereum, XRP, and Solana funds maintained steady inflows even as Bitcoin ETF demand swung between sessions. However, the daily outflow figures remain small relative to the capital accumulated during the preceding streaks, particularly for Ethereum.

Bitcoin ETFs have attracted more than $3 billion over the past 30 days despite the recent volatility around $77,000. The data does not establish whether investors redirected money from altcoin ETFs into Bitcoin products.

Upcoming trading sessions will indicate whether altcoin buying momentum resumes or whether Bitcoin's return to inflows signals a broader shift in ETF investor preferences.
