U.S. bitcoin exchange-traded funds extended their inflow streak to nine consecutive sessions on Tuesday, attracting $66.19 million even as the pace of buying cooled sharply from the previous week.
Bitcoin ETFs have now accumulated over $3 billion across the nine-day streak, though trading volume declined to $1.60 billion with net assets reaching $107.96 billion.
Leading Flows and Market Composition
Blackrock's IBIT led inflows with $51.09 million, while Ark Invest and 21Shares' ARKB added $33.24 million. Bitwise's BITB recorded a $18.14 million outflow.
The combination of lower trading turnover and continued inflows suggests the institutional demand for bitcoin remains stable, even as the urgency from last week's surge has diminished. Bitcoin briefly exceeded $85,000 early Wednesday, marking the first breach of that level in nearly a week.
Shift Toward Measured Allocation
Last week's ETF activity featured aggressive allocation with several sessions recording hundreds of millions in new capital. This week has shown a different pattern, with just $97 million flowing in over two days compared to Friday's lowest inflow of $134 million last week.
The transition suggests the market may be moving from rapid reentry into more deliberate portfolio positioning. Persistent inflows during quieter trading sessions typically signal that investors are adding exposure without relying on sharp price momentum as confirmation.
Ethereum and Altcoin Activity
Ether ETFs ended a seven-session inflow streak with a modest $2.81 million outflow on Tuesday. Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust attracted $12.83 million, while Blackrock's ETHA lost $8.94 million and Fidelity's FETH shed $6.70 million. The modest outflow appears consistent with consolidation rather than deteriorating institutional interest.
Solana ETFs remained positive with $5.44 million in net inflows. Bitwise's BSOL drew $5.75 million and Morgan Stanley's MSOL added $1.29 million, though Vaneck's VSOL recorded a $1.60 million outflow.
New Product Debuts and Selective Flows
Bitwise's newly launched NEAR ETF attracted $35.99 million on its first trading day, closing with net assets of $36.52 million. The strong opening for the single-asset fund demonstrates that institutional investors remain willing to allocate to fresh products.
By contrast, XRP, HYPE, and Zcash ETFs all recorded zero net flows on Tuesday, underscoring the selective nature of current market activity.
The broader pattern suggests crypto markets are entering a phase of moderation. Capital continues flowing into digital assets, particularly bitcoin, but investors are becoming more deliberate in their allocation decisions as trading momentum slows.
