BNB Chain processed 1.51 billion transactions in the third quarter, averaging 16.4 million per day, according to Blockworks' Q3 2026 Token Holder Report. The throughput marked a 7.5% increase from Q2's 1.41 billion transactions.
The activity reflects a shift in network usage patterns. Daily active addresses averaged 2.10 million in Q3, down 14% from the prior quarter, while average transactions per address rose from 6.3 to 7.8, indicating that fewer users were conducting more activity.
Tokenized Assets Drive Volume Surge
Trading in tokenized equities and real-world assets on BNB Chain reached $25.6 billion in Q3, compared with $2.4 billion in Q2. Decentralized exchange activity drove the majority of this volume, with BNB Chain capturing over half of all tracked tokenized-asset trading volume during the quarter.
Broader DEX metrics also expanded. Spot DEX volume rose 28% to $75.7 billion, while lending deposits climbed 42% to $3.57 billion.
Network Revenue Grows Faster Than Usage
BNB Chain's network revenue equivalent value increased 54% quarter over quarter to $54.2 million. Transaction fees contributed $49.1 million, while miner extractable value payments added $5.1 million.
Average transaction fees rose 43% to $0.032. Net income for token holders grew 57% to $45.1 million, which Blockworks attributed to increased demand for the chain's blockspace.
