BNB Chain has surpassed 2 million holders of tokenized real-world assets, becoming the first blockchain to reach this threshold. The network now accounts for approximately 40% of all onchain RWA holders, according to onchain data from RWA.xyz. Robinhood Chain follows as the next largest network with nearly 1.6 million holders.
The holder count reflects distribution across a broader user base rather than capital concentrated in large wallets, suggesting tokenized assets are reaching wider adoption as stocks, funds, and other traditional financial products move to blockchain rails.
Tokenized Stocks Drive Recent Growth
Tokenized equities are fueling BNB Chain's expansion. The market capitalization of tokenized stocks on BNB Chain increased by $106.2 million over the past seven days, outpacing other major networks. X Layer added $63.4 million in tokenized stock value, while Solana added $29.1 million.
Binance's bStocks products accounted for nearly $97 million of BNB Chain's increase, making them the primary driver of recent growth. Across the broader crypto market, tokenized stocks have surpassed $3 billion in total market capitalization.
Distribution as Competitive Advantage
BNB Chain's strength lies in its ability to distribute tokenized assets across a large holder base rather than concentrating value in institutional allocations. A larger user base creates potential infrastructure for trading, lending, collateral use, and other applications built around real-world assets.
The tokenization race is expanding beyond Ethereum, with BNB Chain, X Layer, and Solana all capturing meaningful growth as issuers explore lower-cost networks and crypto-native distribution channels.
The key test ahead is whether BNB Chain's holders remain active as tokenized assets evolve beyond simple ownership into active trading, collateral functions, and yield-generating applications.
