Kalshi's political prediction market data has been integrated into DoubleZero's high-speed fiber infrastructure, providing professional traders and algorithmic trading platforms with real-time access to election market order flow.
DoubleZero Edge, which handles data distribution for the fiber network, now transmits Kalshi's political contracts alongside its existing sports and cryptocurrency derivatives offerings. The data stream includes executed trades, top-of-book quotations, and consolidated order depth across multiple price levels, enabling traders to assess liquidity supporting market prices.
Market Data for 2026 Midterms
The integration coincides with record-breaking activity in political betting markets. By August 10, cumulative wagers across multiple prediction market platforms for 2026 House and Senate races exceeded $133 million, already surpassing the $92.4 million in total trading volume recorded throughout the entire 2024 congressional election season.
On Kalshi's House control contract specifically, trading volume has surpassed $35 million. According to current market pricing, Democrats hold an 84% probability of securing House majority control.
Low-Latency Infrastructure
Austin Federa, DoubleZero's co-founder, emphasized that timing is critical in political markets. When significant events create market movement within seconds, stale data becomes ineffective for decision-making. The partnership aims to deliver political outcome probabilities as actionable, machine-readable information that sophisticated traders and algorithmic systems can process instantaneously.
Andy Ross, who leads institutional services at Kalshi, indicated the partnership simplifies the integration of political market intelligence into professional trading systems as electoral forecasts evolve.
The November 2026 U.S. midterm elections will determine all 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats, with results affecting congressional control during President Donald Trump's final two years in office.
