US-listed spot Ether and XRP exchange-traded fund inflow streaks concluded on Wednesday, reversing a period of sustained demand as broader cryptocurrency prices declined.
According to SoSoValue data, spot Ether ETFs recorded $48 million in net outflows on Wednesday. This ended a sequence of 12 consecutive trading days of inflows during which the funds had accumulated $1.62 billion.
Data from Farside Investors showed that BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF led the Ether fund outflows with $53.4 million. The Fidelity Ethereum Fund lost $26.2 million, and the Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF shed $23.5 million. Meanwhile, BlackRock’s staked Ether ETF partially offset these withdrawals with approximately $53 million in net inflows.
Spot XRP ETFs similarly experienced $7.2 million in net outflows, bringing an end to an 11-session inflow streak. That prior streak had brought in about $170 million and lifted cumulative XRP ETF inflows to approximately $1.68 billion.
In contrast, Bitcoin ETFs moved in the opposite direction, drawing $101.2 million on Wednesday following $236.5 million in net outflows the previous day.
The shifts in ETF flows coincided with a decline in cryptocurrency prices over the trailing seven days. CoinGecko data indicated that Ether led losses with a 3.4% decline, followed by XRP down 2.4% and Bitcoin down 1.3%. At the time of publication, Ether traded at $2,407, XRP at $1.36, and Bitcoin at $77,744.
