Ethereum is currently trading near the $2,500 mark as market participants monitor a key resistance band between $2,545 and $2,567. While the broader daily market structure continues to favor buyers following an earlier breakout from the $1,850 to $1,920 accumulation base, recent price action has turned choppy.
ETH has been trading inside a four-hour range of $2,350 to $2,560 after buyers successfully defended the lower boundary near the $2,380 level. However, repeated attempts to push past the $2,500 to $2,550 zone have stalled without sustained momentum, leaving daily candles with long wicks that reflect market uncertainty.
According to analyst observations, much of the nearby upside liquidity has been cleared, leaving a small cluster around the $2,600 level. A decisive daily close above the $2,520 to $2,560 resistance zone could open a path toward $2,750. Conversely, a loss of the $2,358 support level would weaken the bullish market structure and expose the broader $2,179 to $2,367 support zone to renewed selling pressure.
On-chain data indicates that spot trading activity near the $2,400 to $2,500 range is currently driven by normal-sized orders. Whale participation and large green orders observed earlier in the recovery phase have largely faded, leaving the market without aggressive directional positioning from either large buyers or sellers as it tests resistance.
