Flare and Doppler are partnering on an integration designed to give XRP holders direct access to Flare's FXRP vaults through Doppler's platform. The collaboration allows Doppler to incorporate investment strategies from outside providers as the company broadens its offerings beyond its own yield products.
According to Rox Park, head of institutions at Doppler Finance, the integration aims to consolidate financial options for users. Doppler stated on social media that the partnership provides more ways to use XRP without requiring users to navigate multiple external platforms.
FXRP and Flare's Financial Applications
FXRP functions on the Flare blockchain by representing XRP on a one-for-one basis through Flare's FAssets system. Holders can create FXRP by depositing XRP and can later redeem it for the underlying tokens. These assets can be utilized in applications such as deposit management products and decentralized finance lending markets.
Flare reported that approximately 145.2 million FXRP were minted and about 130 million were deployed in decentralized finance during the asset's first year. While these activities can generate returns through borrower interest, trading, or transaction pools, they also expose assets to risks including software vulnerabilities and market losses.
Roadmap and Broader Expansion
The integration with Flare follows Doppler's September roadmap, which outlines plans for managed vaults, lending, and credit involving multiple managers. Doppler reported more than $150 million deposited by over 14,000 users into XRP products and products supporting Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin since February 2025.
Doppler's expansion efforts also include support for other networks. On July 29, the company announced an expansion to Base using Coinbase Wrapped XRP. The September roadmap notes that support for additional blockchain-represented assets is under development for the fourth quarter.
