Gate has officially launched the World Crypto Trading Competition Season 9 (WCTC S9), a global trading event running from October 26 to November 25, 2026. Registration opened on October 9 and closes on October 26.
The competition features a dynamic prize pool of up to 6 million USDT distributed across multiple competition formats. Participants can trade across Spot, ETF, Convert, Stocks, Futures, and TradFi products, with a unified conversion mechanism aggregating trading performance.
Competition Formats
The Squad Competition forms the core event, offering up to 3.2 million USDT in prizes. Teams require at least one leader and four members and compete across two phases from October 26 to November 10, then November 10 to November 25. The winning squad leader receives a 30,000 USDT-value gold medal.
The Individual Competition provides up to 400,000 USDT in prizes. Traders with at least 20,000 USDT in converted trading volume qualify for rankings, with the top 300 participants sharing the prize pool. Traders ranked 301st to 1,000th can earn Futures Position Vouchers.
A new BTC/USDT Event Contracts Battle feature offers up to 400,000 USDT in prizes. The format pairs traders every 30 minutes for five-minute price prediction matches, with winners earning leaderboard points based on net profit.
Additional Rewards
The WCTC Lucky Launchpad offers 725,000 USDT in total prizes through daily draws triggered by trading activity, invitations, and event sharing. Rewards include USDT cash, futures vouchers, fee rebates, crypto tokens, stocks, and merchandise.
Gate is also launching the WCTC Ecosystem Trading Carnival with 1 million USDT in side-event prizes and an additional 275,000 USDT reward pool for new users and promotional activities.
